Bright, clear and great for safe night driving

Both low beams went out on our SUV. Wife was working nights and mentioned that the lights seemed to be not very bright when she came home one morning. I checked and sure enough - both out. In to the local Canadian Tire and picked these up. I've used the SilverStar bulbs in other vehicles and found them to be bright and clear. These are the same, bright, clear and easy to install. Nice to see well done the road, makes it safe for night time driving, as well as being seen in the daytime..

Do not buy these bulbs

Would not recommend these bulbs. As the tip of the bulb has a thin piece of glass at the top that breaks off and the bulb goes bad. Went to an auto parts store and got better bulbs from there. These bulbs are nothing but junk

Q: Why does the package say 65W when the bulb states 60W?

A: Hello and thank you for contacting us. In order to meet federal guidelines, our bulbs must be marked with the wattage when operated at 12V; whereas the packaging shows the wattage using the industry standard of 12.8V. Q: I have a 2009 Mazda 6, with 2.5 litre engine. Will the Silverstar Ultra 9005 fit my vehicle? If not, what would you recommend in order to get the optimum improvement in overall illumination? I look forward to your response. Kindest regards, Neil

A: these bulbs are indeed brighter, and illuminate the road well. However I found they don't last as long as the regular bulbs. They run hotter so they burn out sooner. You will need to check your manual to determine if the 9005 will fit your model of car.

A: For your 2013 Honda Civic you will require a 9006 SilverStar Ultra (CTC sku# 020-3083-6). For your High Beam and Day Time Running Light your vehicle requires the 9005 SilverStar Ultra (CTC sku# 020-3045-8).

Q: This product is shown as "does not fit 2015 Honda Pilot". Can you tell me what the issue is? Aren't 9005s universal? Sylvania chart shows it as fitting.

A: Hello, I do show that the 9005 SilverStar Ultra Headlight Bulb is the High Beam replacement bulb for a 2015 Honda Pilot. I will certainly inquire with the appropriate parties as to why it is not reflecting such on the Canadian Tire website.
