Q: Why does the package say 65W when the bulb states 60W?
2 years agoA: Hello and thank you for contacting us. In order to meet federal guidelines, our bulbs must be marked with the wattage when operated at 12V; whereas the packaging shows the wattage using the industry standard of 12.8V. Q: I have a 2009 Mazda 6, with 2.5 litre engine. Will the Silverstar Ultra 9005 fit my vehicle? If not, what would you recommend in order to get the optimum improvement in overall illumination? I look forward to your response. Kindest regards, Neil
3 years agoA: these bulbs are indeed brighter, and illuminate the road well. However I found they don't last as long as the regular bulbs. They run hotter so they burn out sooner. You will need to check your manual to determine if the 9005 will fit your model of car.

Q: will this fit on a 2013 honda civic for the low beam
4 years agoA: For your 2013 Honda Civic you will require a 9006 SilverStar Ultra (CTC sku# 020-3083-6). For your High Beam and Day Time Running Light your vehicle requires the 9005 SilverStar Ultra (CTC sku# 020-3045-8).

6 years agoA: Hello, I show that the 9005 SilverStar Ultra would fit your 2006 in the High Beam application. The Low Beam application would use the 9006.

Q: This product is shown as "does not fit 2015 Honda Pilot". Can you tell me what the issue is? Aren't 9005s universal? Sylvania chart shows it as fitting.
6 years agoA: Hello, I do show that the 9005 SilverStar Ultra Headlight Bulb is the High Beam replacement bulb for a 2015 Honda Pilot. I will certainly inquire with the appropriate parties as to why it is not reflecting such on the Canadian Tire website.
