I recently was told by my mechanic that I had to replace my rear brakes and I thought that this was impossible as I have replaced them this spring with the this exact set of pads. I have been hearing the odd squeal and grind sound and to my surprise when I checked sure enough the brakes were starting to disintegrate there were cracks all over chunks missing. originally when I changed them it was due to a faulty brake sensor so I just put on the original brakes that came with the truck which are flawless right. hopefully this is just a one-off I would hate for this to happen to somebody else while on the highway.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Q: For these brake pads, the bulleted information states "Original Equipment Pad Material Is Ceramic". However, in the Features it is stated that "Specialized high-friction semi-metallic formulation...". So are they ceramic or semi-metallic?
