We have been using these same floats for about 35 years and never consider a different style or brand. My rating is just 4 stars for the simple reason that they have changed the blow up valves and are harder to get a good grasp to blow into. Like everything the only other negative is how much they have increased in price over the years. Watch for and buy on sale.

In the water, not on the water only

I love this floater so much I bought extra replacements early for summer because I wore my other ones out. It’s lightweight and collapses easily for storage but lets me float where my body still gets wet in the water, so I can cool down.

A: I never had a pump, so blew into the opening to inflate the outer ring. The ring sits closer to the water surface. However the mesh body is below water surface. It is suitable for laying down. ,
