Issue with inflator valve

I ordered this product online x 3. I received 2 and the boxes were beaten up, which made me wonder if they were returns. I tried to blow one up with an electrical pump, and it wasn't possible, as the valve was clearly separated from an internal disc. The air poured out, you could not move fast enough to plug it. This will be returned. That said, I like this product. It sits high in the water, and you can remain dry. I use it on a lake, and paddle all over, it glides on the water. The cup holder is too small, will fit a beer but not a travel coffee mug. I have had 2 previous ones - both split at the seam over time. One blew the side completely out, which must have looked funny to anyone who happened to be looking, but it was a shock to me when it blew and dumped me into the water. I just hope I can get June to September out of one. Too bad it isn't made of a bit heavier grade plastic with firmer seams, as the design is excellent.
