This ball does not skip. It is a ball that will at most, skip once and for a very short distance. If you expect something like a Waboba, do not get it. If you just want a ball that won't sink in the water, then go for it.

I purchased 3 of these balls to take to the lake for my 3 grandchildren. Worst purchase ever. I only once got it to bounce on the water which is what this ball is designed to do. I contacted the customer service department of the suppler and they offered to replace them with another ball that is the same. What good will that do? They were no help at all. This is a terrible product.

Great toy for the pool. It spins well and the kids love it. Only downside is it's very hard so when a kid throws it at another, it can hurt
