Easy to srt up. Has good range, mine picked up the door sensor in basement effortlessly. Remote controls are great feature and work well
Cons: audible alarm/siren not loud enough and is not wireless limiting install location as it has to be plugged into base unit.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Q: One of the reviews said that there is no entry delay. Is thsat true. Is so, how do you get into the house without setting off the alarm?

A: The Swann Wireless Home Alarm System comes with 2 remote controls for arming and disarming the alarm with ease or simply enter your selected passcode into the control unit keypad knowing the 30-second arming delay will allow you to exit and enter without triggering the alarm

Q: Will pets in the house trip the motion detector.

A: According to the manual: Small animals (such as small cats or similar) can, under some circumstances, trigger the PIR motion sensors. Therefore, we suggest that the PIR motion sensors are not suited to areas where pets are routinely kept.

Q: I would like to install this in my unheated garage (Winnipeg). Can I expect the batteries for,the contacts to,work?

A: The batteries in the door sensor are 4 x LR44 Button Cells (6V DC) The battery manufacture rates the temperature tolerance at -28°C to 55°C

Q: Can this be nooked to a phone line for future monitoring? You may wish to have the system professionally monitored in the future. The system would need a phone line connection to do this.

A: The SKU in question is just a preventative siren sound in case of a burglar – we have more advanced Swann models for full home security though. Please contact your local store for details.
