The Swann Garage Parking Sensor indicates how close your car is to a garage wall & other objects to prevent damage to your vehicle & property
Set the safety distance to 1, 2, or 3' (30, 60 or 90 cm respectively) away from wall & indicator lights will change color depending on how close you are to that distance
Green light means car is in detection zone; orange light means car is within the slow down zone distance limit; red light means car is at safety limit in stop zone
Easy to use & set up - offers parking assistance for vehicles which may not be fitted with car parking assistance systems
Main unit is attached to a wall at fender/bumper level & attached indicator light is set to windscreen level for visibility
Completely wireless using 4x AA batteries (not included) & indicator light flashes red when batteries need replacing

Terrible product

I have had two units, and when they work they are great. I have returned the units three times for exchange, and each time the replacement unit lasts only a few weeks. After a short time the red indicator comes on and stays on until the battery is dead. I have also replaced the batteries (4 Double A in each) many times. I am a senior citizen and now have two (2) dead units.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Great little device that may save money

I set this parking sensor up to warn me when I'm getting too close to a shelving system that sticks out into the parking area, it works great allowing me to get within 30cm to park as far over as I can but avoid hitting the rack which could be expensive.

Perfect for end of garage accurate parking

Bought this because have a new car which just fits in the garage with an inch to spare. Mounted it on a wooden frame and point it at a part of the front of the car 1foot away when in the correct position. Accurate parking everytime within less than ½” variance. Stop at the red light . Brilliant, more accurate than the cars build in sensor which says to stope 6 inch away.

Works but could use improvement

This product works well, but could be vastly improved with a custom "Set" button for distance from the bumper rather than a 1-2-3 foot selector switch. I would also pay more for a choice between an A/C power adapter or batteries. The unit works well and seems to be of reasonable quality.

A: Yes, but it is not attached to a door.........It could be mounted so that it is pointed at the door and will go off if the door is opened.

Q: Does the alarm sound only once? Does the PIR Motion Alarm (SW351-KCH) sound only once for 30s or does it sound repeatedly until it is turned off?

A: When in alarm mode the siren will be on until the correct passcode is entered.

Q: How close must someone be to have the alarm/chime go off? I need an alarm for when my young child attempts to go out the front door.Would this product be a good solution?I have two cats as well, would they set this off and how close or far would someone need to be in order to set this off?

A: It can detect a distance of up to 18ft. It has a range of 110 degrees horizontally and 70 degrees vertically. This is not recommended for use with small animals as they can set the alarm off.
