It’s a remarkably versatile 4-stroke Suzuki outboard, with a lightweight design made for your convenience. The compact size and powerful engine portable and easy to use, while the built-in fuel tank holds up to 1 litre of fuel. The convenient tilt and carry handle make it easy to transport this outboard motor.

Can't get enough!
I'm sure glad I opted going new! And after weeks of research, by far the best warranty, options and oomf for the $.
Add in the Canadian tire "offers" Stacking and I got almost 250.00 back in ctcc $.
It does NOT come with oil tho, for shipping reasons, so grab some. No biggie!
Love how I can add a bigger /aux gas tank too for very extended range.

Pretty light. Fired up first try. I use it with the 12 foot Jon boat that I bought at Can Tire a few years ago. Much better than the battery powered trolling motor I had. Can't go wrong for the price.

Suzuki short shaft 6HP Outboard Motor

I was looking for a small motor to take my grandson fishing. This little Suzuki 6 hp was great, easy set up, easy to start. As a 4 stroke it started first pull, super quiet and ran great to move along or just troll while fishing. Looking forward to using it on our next trip and catching more fish!

A: Thank you for your question. Under normal conditions, the Suzuki 6HP will power a 12 foot aluminum boat which has a 15” tall transom. However we always recommend you review the capacity plate on your boat, which identifies the maximum horsepower capacity recommended by the boat manufacturer.
