The Superior 18-1901 18907 Spring Booster is an easy-to-install quick fix designed for worn-out coil springs. This spring booster features an H-groove for a secure fit on the spring and includes a single circular spacer to help align the coils. With no special tools required, the booster simply slips over the existing spring to provide extra support. Its solid one-piece steel construction is designed to restore sagging springs and improve your vehicle’s ride quality. For a quick coil spring tune-up, choose the Superior spring booster.

Worked for my 240Z.

My 240Z was sitting low on the right front corner. Before replacing all the springs I thought I would give this a try. It was harder to install than I expected. I ended up removing the strut assembly do I could use a spring Compressor safely. The result is excellent. The car sits perfectly level now.

Q: Will the installation of the spring boosters on the front springs affect my wheel alignment?

A: Not sure, but it might. I ended up returning them back to Canadian Tire because I got the correct shims to rise up the front of my vintage Mercedes.

Q: What size spring gap does this fit into?

A: This is a general coil spring application DIY product that is used to add lift to sagging springs and prevent bottoming out. The ring can be used in almost any gap where it can fit. This part #, 18-1901, is 1.5” thick and will provide approx 1” of lift.

Q: What is the ID and OD of the Rubber Ring?

A: The outer diameter is 6 inches and the inner is 3-3/4 inches, also remember that this item has a slit in so it could be cut down to a smaller size.
