I bought it a couple of days ago, I had to reset it several times, the sensor (attached to the wheel) broke right away and I fell in the first ride ! I would not recommend this product at all !

Q: Hello - will this bike computer calculate and keep track of kms for a season? ie: how many kms in total for May to October? or is it just per ride?

A: In order to accomplish this, you could either reset the total kms ridden at the start of each season (hard reset of the computer) or use the TRIP setting.

Q: Is it possible to shut the display off completely as it always shows the time?

A: No, the display will always show the time, but it only uses a tiny amount of battery and it also saves the settings.

Q: There’s a rubber ring included but the instructions don’t say what it’s used for.

A: The rubber ring is the alternative method of attaching the display bracket to the handlebar, if you want to easily remove it. Otherwise, attach using the zip tie.

Q: I am planning to mount this on a forklift to monitor the speed and get the daily data transferred to my computer. Is that possible ? If this doesn't work can you please suggest different device? or its just made for bikes ? thank you!

A: Hi John - this computer will not work easily in this situation. This is made for bikes, so the magnet is designed to attach to a bicycle spoke, which in turn passes by a receiver that sends the data to the display. The distance between the magnet and the receiver has to be very small, so it might be a challenge to get it to receive the data.

Q: Can this be used with a bike trainer?

A: It would need to be installed on the rear wheel for a stationary trainer, since that would be the only wheel turning. There may be some issues with the signal being received by the sensor (gap between the magnet and the sensor), so just know ahead of time that you will likely have to make adjustments.

A: No, it is not CADENCE. RPM here means Rate Per Minute, which is the bicycle’s wheel rotation rate per minute.
