    A solid bike for the money

    We bought this bike for my 4 year old grandson to use at our house. It's very colourful and he made a bee-line for it when he first saw it. Spends hours riding it. It had good reviews and close inspection shows it to be solidly built for the money. The quick release on the seat adjustment should be handy for when his 2 year old cousin comes to visit. As someone else said, the dual coaster/hand brake setup should let them learn both types of braking.

    My son got this bike for his birthday and I would say it had a good run. was able to use it for almost a whole season before the chain fell off. Was able to fix it right away

    • A: The 12" Blast Zone is really best for kids between 2 and 4 years old. Most 5 year olds are too big for a 12" bike. The recommended height for the 12" Blast Zone is from 66 cm to 86 cm tall. There is really not a weight range along as the child is within the height range.
