Worse training wheels ever -do not buy

The sharp ended bracers for the wheels are exactly what you do not want for a kid’s bicycle.

I bought this today, it hooks up great to the bike but the bolt for the wheels do not screw very far. The nut is too small leaving a very wobbly and loose. Waste of time definitely going to return.

J'achète ce set de roue pour me rendre compte lorsque vien le moment de les poser qu'il manque des pièces et que le mode d'emplois fournis ne reflète même pas les pieces qu'il devrait y avoir (si on ce fit à l'image de présentation du produit sur la page de Canadian Tire). Anyway... comme n'importe qui, je remballe tout et je retourne au magasin pour échanger mais... ils y manquent tous les pièces!! Le pièces en question sont 2x espaceur et 2x écrous.

Poorly built training wheels

Bought these wheels as they were the only option at Canadian Tire. The looked flimsy, and unfortunately you could judge this book by its cover. The metal structure is not terribly strong and therefore bends easily during riding. This results in the wheels not remaining flush with ground or the wheels bending into a negative camber position. This then increasing the wear on the rubber, resulting in the wheels being useless in less that 2 / 3 rides. Not worth it. You will be readjusting these more that your kid will be riding the bike.

My daughter has ridden her bike with these training wheels no more than 10 times for just a few minutes each time. The wheels are coming off the rims, the rubber is worn and the metal bends with every fall. They are a lot of work, and my daughter doesn't get to ride her bike very often because of all the problems with the training wheels. All in all, very flimsy and poor quality.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Q: Can't get wheels to spin - are they supposed to be immobile? the only way I can figure out to attach these training wheels doesn't allow the wheels to spin - they are completely immobile, so the bike doesn't actually move as a result. What am I doing wrong?

A: Make sure the hub of the wheel protrudes beyond the frame of the wheel before you install the washer.
