Bien visible

Fonctionne bien et les chiffres sont gros. Le balayage des données est bien utile. Par contre l'ordinateur ne tient pas solidement, il est facile a sortir du socle.
The set-up was fairly easy, it's accurate, and it works in light rain. It does the job if you are looking for speed and distance. I'm more than satisfied.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Q: at what distance from centre of wheel is magnet set.
the instructions give wheel size and circumference but not the distance the magnet must be from centre of wheel which must affect accuracy of unit.

A: Distance from centre of the wheel along one of the spokes doesn't matter. The computer knows that each time the sensor reads the magnet, 1 full wheel rotation has been completed. Whether it happens right near the hub or near the outside of the wheel, each sensor reading is 1 rotation.

Q: Where do you enter the wheel measurement?
2 Answers
A: It's entered the first time you turn on your computer. If you've already had it on you may have skipped past it so just remove the battery and start again. The code for your tire size will be in the instructions (ex 18" wheel might be code 2743).

Q: What wheel sizes does this if on?

A: You have to enter your wheel size. I would think any wheel size could be entered. You do have to enter them in consistent units.

La transmission du signal venant du senseur est-elle portée par ondes électromagnétiques ou bien par fils directement branché au récepteur? Je sais que tout le système fonctionne à pile (CR-2032)...

A: Press both buttons at the same time to reset to Factory Default. From the main screen, the KMH will flash, and you can change between the options by pressing the right button. Press the left button to confirm the choice. If you need a copy of the manual, please email us at service@smspdi.com.

Q: on the sensor.. no indication for the sensor side.. Please tell me what to do ?
Thanks

A: The body of the sensor should be on the inside of the fork, facing toward the magnet which is on the spoke of the wheel (facing the sensor). If you need more assistance, feel free to email us at service@smspdi.com and we can send you the instructions and additional images if you require.

Q: Q1) what is the maximum speed this unit will calculate?
Q2) would mounting closer to the hub get a better signal from magnet? magnet point will increase in speed when placed further from hub.
1 Answer
A: The max speed it will register is 99. The hub and magnet have a small tolerance, so it won't make a difference as long as they are within that range.
