    Works Great!

Knowing the expenses of a gas heater (3x the cost of a furnace), we decided to try solar this year. We have a 20x40 in-ground and without the solar it would hover around 72-73. After we installed two of these 4x10 solar panels, and bought a solar cover to keep the heat in, the pool has maintained a steady 82-83 degrees. Takes a bit of time to install but it is definitely worth the time and money (even though these are affordable).. Definitely recommend.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

    Works Like a Charm

I've had this product for two summers. It works perfectly. I have my pump on a timer so it kicks in at 10am & shuts off at 5pm. The only time I need to divert it is in the middle of July when the pool goes past 86F. It adds about two weeks to either end of the season.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

    Sunkeeper is for keep!!!!

Bought the Sunkeeper Solar Panel with Diverter this summer... I have an Intek 15X48 with frame. My pool temperature was always around 78 to 82 F when full sun... the trick is also to have solar blanket you leave on until you swim... keep it at night... open panel just when sunny... and place ful sun for max. efficiency. I live in Northern Ontario and this Sunkeeper really made a difference this summer....

    Yes, I recommend this product.

    Wishful Thinking

Does NOT work. Not really "Solar" just black. Even got the big one, larger than necessary for our AG pool. Only one degree increase after two full days in the sun & with solar cover too. Also does not come with the required hoses, says on the box you need one additional hose... Well actually need 3 if you connect it with the diverter as per the instructions. Also says 1.5" or 1.25" can be used. Nope! Do not try to use 1.5", way too large for couplers and just leaks everywhere. All parts are PVC, incl. panel and it is HARD to unroll - took a few hours to "warm up" enough to even try spreading it out. It is being returned ASAP! Too good to be true...

No, I do not recommend this product.

    • A: Yes, the Intex Salt Chlorinator works fine with this. You will need to buy some extra hoses.

Q: How do you unroll the solar panel so that it does not crack or get damaged?

    1 Answer
    • A: I'm gonna say to just let the panel heat up in the sunlight before you even try to unroll it. That way, the material will be much more pliable.
