Q: can you hook up 100 watts & 150 watts thought this 8 in one panel hub and will it be OK working together

    1 Answer
    • A: Although we advise panels of a similar size being connected through the Sunforce 8 in 1 Solar Panel Hub, connecting panels of 100w and 150W are possible. The most important thing should be the voltage is within the same range, this usually means panels of the same manufacturer. You should not experience any problems with your connection.

Q: Can the solar hub be mounted on top of my RV (exposed to the elements)?

    1 Answer
    • A: It is strongly advisable to place the 8-in-1 solar panel hub in a dry, ventilated space. Any electric connections should follow this type of direction. We do not advise this to be mounted on an RV rooftop.

Q: Can I hook up my coleman 40W solar panels and 7A charge controllers to the hub? How would I connect 4 of the coleman panels and charge controllers?

    1 Answer
    • A: When connecting more than one a panel, a single charge controller needs to be used to manage all the panels power. You can connect the solar panels to the Solar Panel Hub and use a single line to connect to a charge controller. Please note that for four 40W panels, a larger controller will need to be purchased to accommodate their combined amperage. We can recommend the Coleman 30 Amp controller.

Q: Can I combine 4 solar panels with different wattage? I have 3 40-watt panels and 1 100-watt panel. Can I combine them all into this unit and expect a combined output?

    1 Answer
    • A: Yes. The Solar hub will combine all the panels in parallel, increasing your power while maintaining the 12V voltage system
