Nice and fluffy but older style was better made

While I love that this has an auto-timer that turns off in 3 hours, I do not like that noticeably more heat comes through the patterned side than the fluffy side. I also prefer the older style that had the control coming out of the corner rather than in the middle of one end.
I use it on my bed and because more heat comes through the patterned side, I have it upside down. Unfortunately, the throw, despite having a sheet under (so I don't have to wash it weekly) and a blanket on top, shifts at least 6" nightly. Only the throw moves; the other blanket and sheet don't shift. So, I must reposition it every morning, but at least my bed is nice and warm when I climb in. I loved my older one and although this one feels warmer when it's off, because of the location of the control and because more heat comes through the patterned side causing me to use it upside down which then requires me to reposition it daily, I won't likely stay with this brand next time.
No, I do not recommend this product.
