Great for Gluten Free Bread Mixes

My son gave me this as a gift. I use Duinkerken bread mixes. I put the ingredients in the breadpan and mix with a rubber scraper - then put the pan into the machine and let it do it’s thing. Never had a failure yet!

Great bread maker

I’m have had mine for two years now and it’s still amazing. I make bread 2-3 times a week . I use the dough cycle and then form my own loaves. I’ve had more expensive brands and they haven’t been as good.

Amazing Breadmaker

I purchased this breadmaker about 3-4 years ago. I have a bed & breakfast so its used daily for fresh bread. I LOVE this breadmaker - comes out perfect EVERY TIME. I actually went out & purchased a 2nd breadmaker (exactly same make/model) as I couldnt be without this now. It works hard & produces amazing bread.

I bought this bread maker fairly recently and really like it except for one thing! I could not see anywhere in the little manual, or on line where it says that, in Menu 3, for whole bread setting, even though the timer on the machine is counting down the time, it doesn’t start mixing the dough for about 1/2 and hour. I thought it was broken until I read a review with someone having the same issue. So, please add that to your manual!

Q: Does this Bread Maker include recipes for Basic breads, like white, whole wheat and basic dough for rolls? Also, do you have to use a specific temperature of water or can you just use tap water.

A: The User Guide includes several recipe variations for each of white (including potato, oatmeal, raisin, rye, French and Italian); whole wheat (basic, 100%, honey-grain, honey-wheat, buttermilk); a variety of special breads, and "traditional" gluten-free bread. Also, recipes for dinner rolls and other dough-only items, including pizza dough. There are recipes for jam and marmalade. I believe the use of "Bread-Machine yeast" would eliminate the necessity of heated water; I have always used cold, tap water.

A: Yes, you can probably use many of the same recipes you've always used. Just be sure to use a flour with a high protein content.

Q: Can this machine make bread dough? I like to remove the dough when kneaded and shape it into french loaves and then bake the loaves in the oven. My previous machine allowed me to do this.

A: Hey there! Thanks for reaching out. Yes, you can definitely make bread dough using this bread maker. This bread maker has a dough setting that lets you prepare the dough for rolls, specialty breads, pizza, and other type of dough. You can remove the dough after it's done and shape by hand, allow to rise, then bake in a conventional oven.

A: The loaf turns out more vertical… so you can slice the entire loaf in the middle from left to right then slice those as you would a standard loaf.
