    great little boat

I use this boat at our cottage which is on a pretty busy river. I use it with a 40 lbs thrust trolling motor and it moves pretty good with just me in it, or me and my 5 year old. Very light and easy to care for and clean.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

I think this boat is awesome, very affordable , perfect size for one ore two, very light but solid, I use my 2.6hp on it which is plenty, works great when duck season opens as well as fishing , has everything a big package has only smaller scale, live well works great for catch , bait or just storage, pre wired for lights ,livewell and trolling motor is nice to have all concealed 167 pounds empty makes it easy to move around or load into back of truck

    Yes, I recommend this product.

    great for small lakes

this is a reasonable priced boat for the casual fisherman, and for an avid fisherman on a small lake. Very affordable, and seats very comfortably!

I have been wanting a small stable bass boat for a while and I purchased one of these on sale,,Great price..this little boat is everthing it claims to be,, easy to handle, very stable ,well laid out. I use a 2.2 Mercury on the back and a MinKotta 30 on the front,, a little slow with the small motor but it handles rough water really well. I use a small Seadoo trailer to haul it on and works well,, easy to launch and retrieve by my self. Be sure to drain the water between the hulls after every use,, not much there but it could add some weight to the boat..only real complaint I have so far is the Bow trolling motor plug does not always stay connected..would also be good if the local stores carried more parts like drain plugs and oar locks in stock rather than having to order on line... overall this is a great litte fishing boat for 1 or 2.. I like it so much I sold my Alum Boat.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

    Purpose Built

I purchased this boat for getting into some of our small surrounding lakes. This boat is built for two people of average weight. The max weight claimed includes passengers and gear. Realistically, the two people should not weigh more than 185-200lbs each. With that said, you will not find this many features on a boat this size and keeping the weight down. It is a little ackward to load into the back of a pickup if you are by yourself, not because of the weight, but because of its size. I use two atv ramps to slide the boat into the truck to make life easy for me. This boat will fit under a hard tonneau cover with the tailgate down, and the seats removed. I love the fact that it comes with navigation lights and a live well and is prewired for an electric trolling motor. There are no crossribs on this boat and it feels more like a sportspal canoe flexing under you. If you have never been in a sportspal canoe, the flexing is something that you will have to get used to. Keep in mind that this is not a boat that you want to cross Lake Ontario in. If you want to go on bigger lakes, buy a bigger boat. This boat is not recommended for use on a roller trailer because of the non structure. It works best in the back of a pickup or on a flatbed trailer. If you mount it on roof racks, you have to be careful not to tie it down too tight or you will distort the shape of the boat. Otherwise, you would have to make some sort of clamp to attach the rails of the boat to a roof rack. I would not recommend putting on a gas outboard unless you stay in the 2hp range. The only solid structure on this boat is a piece of wood across the transom. The boat seems more at ease with an electric trolling motor. This boat will never get up on plane so don't even try. You cannot drill holes into the hull to mount a transducer because it is only plastic and could end up leaking. You will either have to mount it on your trolling motor or build a device that you can clamp onto the transom to have the transducer in the water(which is what I did). This boat has a "double hull" feature being that it is built in two halves. There is a drain for the inner skin as well as one the for outer skin. This boat, in my opinion, is "purpose built" for one or two people that want something small enough to haul into a small lake in the back of their truck. It is quite comfortable to fish from and has many nice features. Again, if you want to carry more weight or go on bigger lakes, buy a bigger boat that has good structural support. I like mine for what I intended to us it for.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

Q: do you have to fill the live well in the pro 102 by hand does the pump only circulate the water in the live well, or should it pump water in the live well??

    1 Answer
    • A: There is a plug in the bottom of the live well that you pull to let water in. Once it is to your liking, you secure the plug back into the hole. Livewell only circulates the water in the livewell.
