Weren't strong enough

I used these to replace OE liftgate pistons. They were not strong enough to hold up the liftgate on my Honda Fit. Replaced these with another brand that did work.

I used these to replace both liftgate pistons on my Honda Fit. These did not hold up the hatch at all and were, in fact, worse than the ones I replaced, dangerously so.

A: I do not know if the struts fit a Forester as I purchased them for a Suzuki SX4. Based on my experience check the strut force as well as their dimensions, stroke and fittings. In my case the strut force was inadequate so I returned the struts.
