There are bunch of the similar products. Looks like some of them might be better for the new car/engine, some for the older ones. I was lucky to ask the CT sale person in the store about that aspect and got, in my opinion, right suggestion. Seems the right product found the right buyer:)

Q: Would I use the whole bottle for my lawnmower or just a bit? My electric start Toro lawnmower starts easy enough but tends to stall and or runs sluggish. I suspect my carburetor may be dirty.

Q: Is this safe to use on my fuel injected motorcycle? I stored my motorcycle over the winter and forgot to add a fuel stabilizer. The bike is a Honda CBR250R.

A: Yes, this product is perfectly safe to use on the customers fuel injected motorcycle. Keep in mind that this product will not assist in “refreshing” the fuel that is in the motorcycle that has been stored over the winter. If you are having issues starting the motorcycle since it was stored so long, 1. you may need to either top-off your gas tank if you have room to fill more gas or 2. Pump out current fuel, and fill up with fresh fuel.

Q: Would it be safe to use 'STP fuel injector & carburator cleaner' to clean my EGR valve? I want to soak and clean my EGR valve but is this product sensor safe? Would it be safe on the rubber diaphram inside? Thank you.

A: No, this would not be the correct use of the product. STP Fuel Injector & Carburetor Treatment is designed to work inside the running engine where solvents won’t work. Since you want to remove the EGR and soak it, there are solvents that will be more effective for cleaning the EGR valve in this manner. You can use Carb & choke cleaner sprays, or 99% isopropyl alcohol mixed with gasoline, or toluene as the solvent. Then a pipe cleaner (or Q-Tip) to scrub the inside.
