First time engine compartment clean for my 10 years old car, I prefer to use some degreaser which can be rinsed off after. Checked couple degreasers from CT and reviews, decided to give this one a try. It turned out very good, very happy with the result. It does it is supposed to . Very nice and clean. even used for wheel well to clean the dirt, very good as well.

Used you remove gear and engine oil drips on painted floor of garage which had been there for 5 years. It came straight off, and didn't damage the floor paint or engine paint finish. 100% better than I expected.

Q: Safe for painted areas? if some sprayed over to outside of car will it damage paint?

A: The STP® Foaming Cleaner & Engine Degreaser Spray should not damage painted surfaces if the over spray reaches those areas. It is always recommended to rinse, with water, all surfaces that are spray with the degreaser.
