Nice organizer

Nice, clean-looking cube organizer that was easy to assemble. I’ve seen a few photos and comments from people who put screws through the finished surface and then blamed the product. There are pre-drilled holes for the screws and dowels that come with the organizer, so following the instructions makes assembly straightforward. The instructions are easy to follow, and a little patience goes a long way. I purchased two of the darker-coloured ones, and they look great together. Overall, I’m very happy with the quality and appearance!

This cabinet has worked out great, put in my living room using black plastic bins. Things are accessible and neat and tidy. Oh and easy to assemble!

Le meuble est pas si mal, quoi que a l'assemblage une des tablettes n'était pas aligné, ça ne paraît pas trop une fois assemblée, par contre les petits collant numéroté sont très difficile a enlever et il y avait un collant de mise en garde qui a littéralement arraché une grosse section du fini bois, il y a donc un gros trous blanc au milieu de ma tablette..

I expected the storage organizer to be a bigger. Its easy to set up and I will find some use for it when I store my crafts. Maybe the 9-cube would have been bigger but would have preferred more height.

Packaging box was damaged

The box was dented and had holes in it when I picked it up from the online purchases counter. When I brought it home, I realized that the holes in the box caused the bookshelf to be scratched and dented, so I returned it.

Q: Does this include mounting hardware to hang it on the wall? We would like to use this as storage above our closet bar at the back door. Can we hang it on the wall?

  • A: The included mounting hardware is only intended to secure the cabinet top to a wall to prevent it from tipping over (on a child) when sitting on the floor. To mount the cabinet on a wall, screw and glue a piece of 3/8" sanded plywood (same width & height as cabinet) to the back of the cabinet. Then screw the plywood backing to the wall studs using a stud finder. You may paint or stain the exposed plywood backing sheet before gluing and screwing it to the back of the cabinet. Use 1 1/2" course thread drywall screws and pre-drill the holes in the centre of the cabinet panels. Use a piece of 1/2" or 3/4" quarter-round on the perimeter of the cabinet to hide the exposed edges of the 3/8" plywood backing sheet.

Q: Is the unit as sturdy if laid on its side (horizontally)?

  • A: The only way to prevent this item from collapsing is to attach a 1/4 thick backing. You can also get thicker dowels and glue the square pieces to the sides. Otherwise it will be rocking and eventually brake.

  • A: Yes, in the box you get 3 backing boards - 1/8 inch thick, each the size of one cube. So you get to rearrange them as you like.
