Q: Polymer? So is it plastic? How environmentally safe is this? Micro plastics?

A: The product is primarily quartz sand with vinyl polymer to improve the locking action after product dries. Vinyl polymer improves compaction and functionality as a setting bed for pavers or concrete slabs. The vinyl polymer makes up very little of the total weight of the product (1-5%).

Q: Has anyone used this to fill in cracks on a concrete driveway? And how does it hold up?

A: I use this for my driveway interlock / not a concrete driveway. It does become hard but not the same as concrete. We have had to scrape out the sand after a few years to redo as the interlock shifts and cracks open. I feel it works for my application.

A: I had my neighbor to help me, so I am happy to assist. 1. Pour product out onto pavers/bricks etc. 2. Sweep it gently into all cracks A. Try to get all the product off the face of pavers. 3. "Heavily mist" the sand in the cracks. A. IT needs to get soaked thoroughly, without moving the sand, so you need a gentle mister and some patience. 4. Wait 30ish minutes. 5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 one to 2 more times. 6. Product will "crystalize" when properly set up... 7. Ignore weeding this area for entire summer! :-)

A: • 18.1kg (40 lb) covers approximately 3.7m2–5.6m2 (40–60 sq ft) with narrow joints or 1.3m2–2.4m2 (14–26 sq ft) with wide joints • Required amount will depend on shape/size of pavers or slabs and width/depth of joints
