Excellent Air gun

I have a lots of air guns, and this one is good product. Good precision when you ajust it, i need to ajust it and now every shot go to the target. Good feeling when you old it. Some people will say the gun is not good, and break easily, but i'm shure people don't read instructions, and pump more than once. GUYS YOU JUST PUMP ONE TIME THIS GUN! This gun is not like the Crosman Classic 495 FPS Black Air Pistol or a lost other air guns. Just one pump and you ready to go. It's why i love this gun, no CO2 to buy and no MULTI pump to do. Really good gun! I love it!

THe poor quality of XP4

Today August 30 I bougt an XP4 air pistol . After about 10 shots the pistol stoped working.It didn't compress the air.I was happy after returning it to the store because I got store credit for the value of the pistol. It was a bad experience.

high failure rate

I bought this gun which seemed like a good deal for the price, got it home and shot off 10 rounds of "PREMIERE" .177 hollow points to begin sighting in, 3 rounds good and 7 stuck in the barrel. sights in easily enough and a very accurate gun but even a perfect shooting guns sucks if it isn't reliable. exchanging this for the winchester 1911 model we will see how that goes.

Q: What is the fps for this pistol & what is the ammo type; ie lead pellet or bb. Also what is the propulsion system?

A: The Stoeger XP4 will fire an alloy (.177) pellet at 410 FPS and a lead (.177) pellet at 360 FPS. The XP4 does NOT accept BBs.The power plant is a compressed air piston that you re-pump once between shots, so no annoying CO2 to worry about. I really can't say enough good things about the Stoeger XP4 and the Italian design shows.
