Questions
Q: Is this a new model with a ramp, so you can drive in with a small motorcycle or snowmobile? The existing item #040-8044-2 in the store and pictures from reviews does not have a ramp, and nobody in the store knows about the model shown by the pictures.

Q: The hinges on the trailer at the store where it is in stock have surface rust on them. Should I be concerned? Trailer was left outdoors all winter. Can surface rust be removed? Or can hinges be replaced?
2 years agoA: I am not an expert but the trailer is made of galvanized steel which does not rust easily. Hinges are thick enough to withstand surface rust.

Q: Can you drive a lawn tractor on this trailer with the gate on the back? Or do I need to get ramps?
3 years agoA: No, you will need to get ramps. I made ramps and hooked them on to the gate in the normal down position, for my 30” lawnmower. For the extra weight of a lawn tractor, you might want to release the gate chain and hook the ramps right on the trailer bed.

11 years agoA: This trailer has a gross weight (empty weight + cargo weight) of 2000 lbs. Class II hitch can pull up to 3500 lbs. So yes, you can haul this trailer with a class II hitch
