It could be a bit bigger to fit a artificial 6.5 ft Christmas tree. Only able to place two sections of the tree and the third section attained another container.

missing a snap closure piece

I finally decided to buy this storage box for my tree. Everything fits in perfectly but when I went to close it I realized my lid came home with no snap piece on the one end which makes it useless. It's a Christmas item so not returnable by the time I put my tree away and discovered it was missing the snap.

A: Don't believe it! I have a 7-foot tree and I could only get two of the three sections in, and one of those was the tiny top section.

A: Hello Michelwe, the Sterilite Tree Box is made of polypropylene plastic. Polypropylene sometimes has a plastic smell (especially the clear products) when first purchased that dissipates fairly rapidly once the product is unpacked and put to use.
