This trash bin lid does not stay closed. I’m so disappointed. The one I had before lasted years. I’m already needing to replace a month old bin.

Nice sturdy garbage can

Very sturdy and a good size. It’s 28 liter so it's a little bigger than a standard household trash can but smaller than most kitchen garbage cans. Just what I was looking for. Top is easy to open and close.

Disappoining design flaw

The trashcan looks nice. It fits easily in a smaller space and is easy to keep out of the way. However, I purchsed a lidded trashcan with my newly-adopted trash-picker dog in mind. This trashcan will NOT fit the bill. The lid does not snap in place; it merely rests on top of the can and can be easily knocked off by a nosy canine. It defeats the purpose of having a latch on the lid in the first place. I'm going to try hot-gluing the lid to the can. I mainly use it for office-type trash, not food scraps, so I don't use a trash bag in it anyway.

No, I do not recommend this product.
