This is a great mug

mug advertised as keeping beverages cold for 12 hours". It actually surpasses this time. Leave it in a hot car in a mall parking lot for 3-4 hours and its still as cold as when it was filled. Amazing mug.

A: I don't think so, the steel is a single wall construction so there is no insulation wall. You need to look for the vaccum sealed bottle

Q: Can this be used for hot drinks?

A: 76-0539 is a single wall stainless steel bottle. Since there is no insulation we do not recommend putting hot liquid inside as the temperature of the bottle will be the same as the liquid inside.

Q: How big is the mouth opening? is it 63mm, which is compatible with most hiking water filters.

A: The inside diameter of the bottle opening is 50mm. Our Katadyn Hiker Water Filter (prod # 76-0101) comes with an adaptor that fits most water bottles. It should fit a water bottle with a 50mm diameter.
