Buyer Beware

Our package came from the store without the little inseer piece as shown in the picture. Turns out my wife didn’t like the waist PFD so I went to return this cartridge as they only work for PFDs and Canadian Tire refused to take it, exactly as it was sold to me.

For the C1271 Manual PFD Instr. are not complete.

I unpacked the jacket and was looking at all the parts. I pulled the cord with the yellow handle, and the green pin broke. I guess it was "half armed", but there was no warning to say "Don't pull the handle". Why was the pin in place when there was no cylinder attached? Putting the pin with a cylinder together to arm it would be a great idea. Now I guess I'll have to spend another $30.00 + to get another pin. That leaves me with an extra CO2 cylinder I'll never use. I looked through the whole instruction book for warnings to no avail. Also, looked for the rearming kit number and finally found it in one spot at the bottom of a page. * Warnings poor. * Instructions poor. * A lot of reading and little info.

A: I believe it will; they're both 24mg 1/2" thread, with thin green pin. (I have no experience though.)

A: We do not call out a maximum weight rating for our PFDs. We only call out a minimum weight requirement of 90lbs.
