Chew Toy

Bought 4 of these about 6-7 months ago for the state park I work at in Florida. Video quality is fantastic and love having audio. Only change I would make is to adjust the sensitivity. That being said, had a black bear decide to use one as a chew toy. Not once but twice in 3 days and camera kept on ticking with 3 puncture holes in the sensor.

I’ve had four of these cameras for about four or five years now and love them! Awesome trigger speed, clear pictures even at night and easy to use. I would recommend to anyone!

Great features, easy to use

Bought 2 of them about a year ago was getting great pictures some weeks would have close to two thousand pictures. Put them back out two months ago had just 47 pictures in 3 wks, this last month 0 pictures. The other camera same thing 123 then 0. Everything looks fine, battery 100%don't know what is wrong!

Purchased this camera only to find out you have to format the card first......Not exactly ready to go when u buy this product and drive too the camp to set it up. A complete waste of my time. Returned it and purchased the Bushnell. I hate spending good money for a poor product. Never again......

This is an update to the review I wrote 2 years ago. These cameras have been phenomenal! First of all, you may have to tweak your settings to your own liking, to obtain the best results.... once you've done this, just set it and leave. Cams have been left out 24/7 for past 2+ years and still going strong. We have -40C and colder temperatures here in January and February, and they still fire. Daytime pics and videos are very good, and nightime pics are good enough that my cameras have already helped me catch a thief at our cabin! I will be replacing my other cheaper cameras with these as time goes on. Through trial and error, the best batteries for this camera is the Energizer Lithium Advanced, which depending on amount of pics/videos captured will last easily 6+ months and not fail you in the winter months. Videos are great quality day and good quality night - and seems the microphone is very sensitive to capturing sound when the video is recording, definately a bonus. The PIR have a good range, and I've captured animals as small as a rabbit at 80 feet out. By no means are these images professional quality compared to a dedicated camera, but for capturing cute furry animals and people poking around your property, can't go wrong with this camera.

Q: Will this camera work with an app on a cell phone?

A: No. The camera takes pictures and stores them on a memory card (sold separately). The memory card will need to be retrieved manually if you want to see what photos or videos were recorded.

A: It doesn't come with the cable but our part number for a 12 volt 7 to 9 amp hour Sealed Lead Acid battery is STC-CBL

Q: Could I use this as a temporary security camera or are there lights that would make it visible when triggered? Would like to temporarily set it up as a security camera in an outdoor area I'm having problems with but am concerned that intruders may somehow see it when it is triggered and then the camera gets stolen as well.
