Takes to long to activate

I have 3 of these units and none of them work correctly they take to long to activate and most of the time they do not go off in time to scare the cats.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Very Disappointed

I have purchased 6 of the previous models last year, of which only 1 works now. I was so excited to see the new design only to find the spray container is so much smaller now. Yet the cost is still the same :( We have several special needs cats, some blind & some deaf. This is the only thing I have found to keep them away from dangerous areas such as the stove & fireplace. The can was empty within a week. The price to replace these canisters is too expensive so now I'm trying to find something else. Better design but should have made it bigger to fit a larger can.
No, I do not recommend this product.

It is crucial to mention that the new cans are actually larger than the old ones, with around 20-40 more sprays available. As the new units are more sensitive and have different settings, however, it's possible your cats are activating them more often, which is leading to the cans being used more quickly than in the past. We're so sorry for any confusion this has caused.

Works well for a some years - Then they don't.

Purchased two and they worked well in 2016. After a few years they started to fail. Recently I attempted to refill and the insides came out in parts. I suspect that the 1,1,1,2 Tetraflouroethane caused some breakdown of the plastic. Don't expect more than about 5 or 6 years of life from the device. It is an excellent and effective device while it works.
Yes, I recommend this product.

DO NOT BUY

The first one I bought suddenly went berserk and started spraying constantly even when shut off. It wouldn’t stop spraying until the mechanism was separated from the can. I was sent a send one at no cost. It worked for a long time. Then I put it away for a couple of months. When I pulled it back out it would not work. I tested the batteries and they were not dead. I replaced with new batteries anyway. It still did not work. I know the can still has a charge because when I press the top back on the can I can make it spray. Please don’t buy this. This is too expensive for a short term solution. I cannot recommend this at all. The failure rate is too high. This product is a piece of garbage.

Q: Does Canadian Tire carry the refill for the Innotek SSSCAT Pet Deterrent? I see that Canadian Tire sells the Innotek SSSCAT Pet Deterrent but I don't see that you carry the actual refill. Can you confirm whether or not you carry the refill?
