I bought this jar opener in hopes it would make it easy to open jars but I find it slips on the jar lid when trying to use it. You need to put a lot of pressure on it to open a jar which defeats the purpose when you have arthritis in your hands.

a month ago

Did not work at all. Then could not return because it had been “used”. ( had to cut ties to try it). Was only offered “ exchange”. But I had found it dud not work at all for a spaghetti sauce jar lid.

A: Rotate turn-knob clockwise to tighten jaws onto lid. Tool locks in place. While holding jar or bottle securely, grasp handle and push counterclockwise to open. Loosen turn-knob to release lid. Grips to lids the handle acts as a lever that makes opening the jar much easier. Adjusts to lids from 1" to 3". Suited for people suffering from arthritis or people who have lost strength in the hand.
