Not good for arthritic hands.

I own some amazing Starfrit products but this is not one of them. The product still requires strength and is not a good aid for mildly, arthritic hands. I would love Starfrit to re-design this product and come up with one that actually does the job they say it is intended to do.

Q: HOW DOES THIS WORK? Pls explain how it works! I have a health problem, so I have trouble with my hands/strength and cannot open jars. (Does the dial lock onto the lid and you turn the handle to open?)

A: Rotate turn-knob clockwise to tighten jaws onto lid. Tool locks in place. While holding jar or bottle securely, grasp handle and push counterclockwise to open. Loosen turn-knob to release lid. Grips to lids the handle acts as a lever that makes opening the jar much easier. Adjusts to lids from 1" to 3". Suited for people suffering from arthritis or people who have lost strength in the hand.
