Worried I would spiralize my knuckles

I was looking forward to jazzing up our veggies with the mini spiralizer. I soon noticed that you can only use tall and slender veggies (and not the whole carrot for example) as you will lose the skin on your knuckles.
No, I do not recommend this product.
