I recieved a starfrit breadmaker as a Christmas gift to replace an older Sunbeam model. The recipes available in the starfrit are average at best. I'll keep old recipe book to see if I can still get good end product.

This is my third bread maker. It’s definitely my favourite. I love the size of the loaf pan. All we eat is fresh bread now as perfect for slicing for sandwiches.

Fonctionne très bien.
Il y a un mode qui permet de régler soit-même la durée de chaque étape, ce qui est bien pratique quand on a une recette qui donne les durées précises (par exemple ma recette de brioche).

Q: Are you able to remove the mixing paddle before baking so that there isn't a big hole in the bottom of the loaf??

A: I am not sure. I have not tried. I use it to make the dough, and then let it rise in the kitchen before baking the bread in the oven. I find it turns out better.

Q: Does the Starfrit bread maker pause and alert you before baking so you have the opportunity to remove the mixing paddle, to avoid a hole in the bottom of the loaf?

A: No, but you can press the start/stop button to pause, which would allow you to do that and then just press again to resume.

Q: Is there a reset button on the bread maker once the process is started and you want to restart at the beginning. We tried unplugging the machine and when plugging back in it was still at the settings and time when we unplugged it. Is there a cancel feat

A: I think you just press and hold the start/stop button for about 2 seconds. You should hear a beep and it should cancel the current function.

Q: Does the Starfrit Bread machine have a delay timer option? Most bread machines have the option to put it on a delay so that you awake in the morning to fresh bread.
