It's a bit tricky to adjust. It has a flat front surface for main sticker, so it's easier to customize.

Great Helmet

I like this model because of it's fit and quality. The head harness is very convenient to adjust with the back knob and the helmet is very strong. I don't have to have it much anymore, but I still keep one in the truck for occasional use. ...also, this model looks better than the cheaper one.

good, but cheaper version ok too

If you are a homeowner who just wants extra protection from overhead dangers, the cheaper version is acceptable. This one is more expensive, and they both seem to do the same job.
For non-industrial, non-commercial use and just for household use (ie when trimming branches or crawling in the crawlspace, then this one might be overkill).
The adjustable head band makes it ideal for any head size and cinches on nice and snug.

It's a CSA certified hard hats so it provides protection against impact anywhere on the surface of the hat, not just at top dead centre of it, like some other products. It provides an excellent protection when there is a danger of falling objects or tools. Granted, it's probably not necessary in many cases, but better safe than sorry.

I haven't had this hat for that long, but so far I've bumped my head a few times and it protected me. It costs more than other hard hates, but you'll have piece of mind knowing it is CSA approved.
