Q: Any missing socket? In most socket sets I found, the ones you need the most are never included. Is this the case here , again? Especially when dealing with metric.

A: This set doesn't include 5.5mm - as I've needed 3 times this week. Is it an uncommon size? I was trying to repair common household appliances i.e. my old wahsing machine.

A: I work on the road, doing waste management installations, which means I am often in the middle of no where in all weather types. This exact tool set is the one I carry with me, and I have used them extensively in both the rain and snow over the span of the last two years. I have not seen a SINGLE spot of rust on this set. I'm sure that if you were to leave them sitting in a puddle of water for extended periods of time, yes they would rust, but so would anything.

A: The 1/4" and 3/8" drive sockets have 6 point, and the 1/2" drive sockets have 12 point. The wrenches closed end have 12 point, and the open end are the regular box end.

Q: Thanks to the hi-res image, I noticed there's warning etched into the case: Do not use with power tool? Are you serious? That tells me this set isn't worth a fraction of what its selling for.

A: This set is not impact rated and are made of CR-V. Impact rated sockets are made from CR-MO and we offer an assortment within out Maximum brand you can find under Impact Socket Sets. Tools are made for different uses – in this case CR-V is for hand tool use and CR-MO or Impact sockets are for power tool use.

To return them for warranty exchange, bring it to any Canadian Tire store within the warranty period, with your receipt. Warranty exchanges without the original receipt will be offered at the Canadian Tire store’s discretion.
