I already have a great rack by Wet Gear and thought I was just picking up another one for my son. THIS IS NOT THE SAME RACK. Really I should have just done the math. I have 2 skates, 2 shin pads, 1 pair of pants, 1 set of shoulder pads, 2 elbow pads, 2 gloves, 1 neck guard and 1 helmet to hang on this rack. (Not to mention a jersey and two socks, which I won't count). In total that's 12 items to hang. This rack only has 6 bars and 1 post - i.e. 5 hangers short of what's actually needed. This one is getting packed up and sent back.

No, I do not recommend this product.

This rack is an absolute must have for any hockey mom. With three kids playing hockey it not only allows the equipment to be aired out BUT also helps keep equipment separate and organized.

A: Well, I'm 59 and just got it this year… so the answer is a definite "YES". However, I am small… 5'3' 110lbs. This rack is great and sure beats leaving gear on the floor (especially with cats and a dog in the house)!
