As expected

This is a simple, basic pedometer that does the job as you would expect. Of course it rattles - that's how it works! It registers a step when the inside mechanism moves up and down. Of course the distance covered is just an estimate based on your average gait as inputted by yourself and must be taken with a grain of salt - but this is true of any non-GPS pedometer.

Waste of Money

Bought this and when I opened up and took off the battery tab it wouldn't turn on. So I opened it up took out the battery placed it back in and it worked....for 10 seconds. I went and bought a brand new battery out it in and again turned on and worked for about a minute. Not impressed! Spend the extra money and buy a good, reliable pedometer.

Don't purchase

I bought this on Wednesday. It's now Friday and I'm returning it after work. Haven't use it yet and it already has almost 50 steps on it. The unit rattles, which should have set off the alarm bells. All you have to do is shake it and it registers steps. It's low cost and low quality.

No, I do not recommend this product.
