Garbage 1st use

Fabric completely ripped off the frame within first 2 hours of use of the beach. In comparison, other shade structures on the beach were totally fine, including our friends’ shade tents. Everything was anchored down, but the centre pole doesn’t lock well - when pushing down into the sand, the extension slides back into the centre pole despite engaging the lock, making it difficult to anchor. The fabric is held on by tiny single threads, so no strength at all. The size of the structure is good, but the extremely poor quality and durability of this product makes it impossible to recommend. In fact, stay away from this product unless you only use it in absolutely zero wind conditions. Too late to get a refund so this was a complete waste of money!!

A éviter pour ceux ayant utilisé l’ancienne version la qualité à changé pour la nouvelle génération. Notre bon vieux Sport Brella XL à rendu l’âme après 10 années de loyaux services sur les plages. Nous venons d’acheter le même sauf grosse surprise le tissu est de bas de gamme. Le poteau n’est plus fait en metal solide et le joint entre les deux poteaux est maintenant en plastique. Nous avons retourné le tout au magasin

Nous avons un balcon au 3 étage avec aucune protection du soleil de l'après midi, surtout lorsqu'il descend pour se coucher. Ce parasol nous permet d'ouvrir un des panneaux latéraux pour cacher le soleil couchant tout en solidifiant encore plus son attache au balcon! Ce qui n'est pas négligeable avec tout le vent au 3e. C'est la solution que je cherchais depuis 2ans!

Love it for camping!!

Friends of ours brought this out one evening as we were sitting around the campfire at the campground. I was so amazed at how it kept the heat in and the dampness off your back - I immediately went and bought one the next day - now all of our friends have one and we all sit around in a blue circle of umbrellas at the campfire!!

A: Its great with the wind but depending on how windy it is id invest in longer metal pegs just in case as you never know. Putting the umbrella at an angle so its not directly with the wind helps as well.

Q: Is this easily portable? Does it have a carry strap or bag to make transporting it from car to beach site easy for a smallish person?

A: the carrying bag does have a strap so you can carry across your chest shoulder to opposite hip or just over one shoulder. its also not really heavy. I carry it across my chest while holing my child and diaper bad on the other side

A: I've no idea the dimensions but if it's only 15.2 cm wide and 10 cm high as stated by the Canadian Tire 'Expert' that's unusable!

Q: The upper part of my sport brella has a turn-bolt to secure to the base (put into ground) peg. It has become stripped, and now the top just slides down the base peg. Is there a sleeve for the base peg, and who sells it ?
