It looks good and sounds even better!
This is an excellent head unit. The instructions for installation and set up are very good. This is a great system to start out with or to upgrade from a factory stereo. It's sufficient with the 2x 6.5 speakers but really needs two more speakers (it has a 52W x 4 channel output) or a sub ( 2 speakers plus a sub setup without an external amp!) to get the best listening satisfaction (different setups are explained in the instructions).
The preset equalizer settings give optimum playback for all types of music. The sound settings can be confusing at first, but a little practice makes it easy to go through the various menus.
Yes, I recommend this product.

A: The Sony package will fit in a 2001 Legacy. The opening is a perfect fit for a single DIN radio. Both front and rear factory speakers are 6.5” The wiring harness is special order SU03B .

Q: Will this fit into a 2005 GMC van?

A: In 2005 GMC made two vans, Savannah and Safari. They can both accept the Sony single DIN radio and the 6.5” speakers in this bundle. The Savannah takes a EGMT249F dash kit – 035-0030, EGMAF wiring harness – 035-00057 and EUAF antenna adaptor – 035-0065. The Safari takes a EGM154F dash kit - 035-0024 and the same harness and antenna adaptor. Speaker adaptors will be special order. The Savannah needs SAGMT95B for the front speaker locations. 6.5” speakers will not fit in the rear. The Safari needs the same adaptor which will fit front or rear.

A: The radio in this package, Sony CXGT5716F will fit in a 2005 Honda Civic with these accessories: The car stereo installation kit is a EHA67F – 035-0103 The car stereo connector is an EHA28F – 035-0060 The speakers provided in this package are 6.5” In the vehicle the factory front speakers are 5.25 and the rear speakers are 6x9”. The customer would need a special order speaker adaptor SAH6 which would allow the 6.5” speakers to fit. The Sony speakers are probably 40 watts ea The Sony radio is probably around 50 watts peak power
