    Gut Hook

    I have had two of these knives and gave one away as a gift. I enjoy this tool for dressing out deer. The saw blade is the best for a quick switch to sawing a rib or pelvic area or even a leg bone. The GUT HOOK is great BUT to me it belongs behind the gut hook blade just like the revolver 2.0 hunter. The gut hook gets in my way sometimes when you are trying to work the blade in a tight area such as the deer cavity or a deer ham. The hook snags on meat sometimes. If installed on the Revolver Hunter Clam Pack and keep the knife straight edge without a partial serrated area. IT WOULD BE BEST KNIFE TO OWN.

    Great gift

    I bought this as a gift for one of my friends and she absolutely loves it for camping and hunting it's got a great sturdy blade. However, switching the blade is a bit awkward sometimes the pin gets stuck and won't go in to hold the blade in and u have to force it in. This knife is so awesome I might buy one for my self.

    I bought this knife 11 yrs ago and it's been on two many hunts to describe and it has covered 6 bull elk, 5 Mule Deer bucks, and some wild boar. The blade holds an edge better than most and I have never sharpened the saw!

    I got this last year and have dressed 3 deer with it now. I wouldn't call it the most durable thing out there but it keeps an edge well enough, the gut hook works and the saw cuts the pelvic bone easily. The sheath isn't great but just leave it in your pack till you need it and you'll be fine.
