Perfect for my growing Grandson!

Perfect recreational skate and was good value at the sale price! Adjustable from size 3-6, (this was the size range I purchased) so not wasting money every year as your kids grow out of it as these skates adjust to their feet. Would not recommend for hockey with the soft toe shoe, but great for recreational use.

Comfortable and warm AND adjustable sizes! Great design, my son loves them and they go from size 6 and adjust to size 9, these should last many years before he grows out of them. Very warm, comfortable easy to put on and off. He likes skating much more now.

Q: How do adjust the skates, there is no butto and I am completely flustered trying to figure this out

A: Hi. There should be a grey/Silver leaver on the bottom outside of the skates. It is pretty hard to pull it out. Than when the leaver is out you pull or push the front part off the boot out or in. Close to the leaver there are numbers to adjust it to you're shoe size. When done push the leaver in. And good to go.

Q: how do you adjust these skates? i opened the tab, but can't seem to make the boot any bigger.

A: You need to loosen the two screws (you don't need to completely remove them), pull up the silver tab, then slide the top of the skate forward. It is quite stiff to slide. You will see markings on the center part of the bottom of the toe at 1/8" intervals to help with sizing. It works best if you line up with those lines. Once you get your size, lock down the silver tab and tighten the screws back up.

Q: I am confused the size on the skates where we adjust is that the skate size or the foot shoe size that I should relate to...? For example on the skate adjustment it says 11 to 2 is that the skate size or the footwear size?

A: The most likely size to fit would be men's size large. Unfortunately, this generally only covers up to about size 9.5 shoes.

A: The Softec Recreational Skate comes with both laces and a ratchet style lacing system. The boa lacing system you are referencing was utilized on some of our previous models, such as our Reebok BOA skates. These may be in stock at selected stores.

A: The Softec Men’s Recreational Skate runs small, as the Large fits a size of 6 to 8, Medium fits 4 – 6 and Small is fitted for 2 – 4. If you are unable to fit in the specified sizes I recommend looking at SKU #: 0833514. This is the Bauer alternative, which can fit slightly larger feet.
