Q: We can't seem to adjust the skates. Have pulled down the white lever and they won't budge. What are we doing wrong?

A: There are 2 screws on the bottom of each skate, close the toes of the sole. For some reason they’re so tightly screwed on that you can’t actually adjust the skate size unless you’re the hulk. You have to first loosen the 2 screws and then undo the lever. Keep loosening the screws until you can move the the toe cap. Make sure to not unscrew all the way, it can be a little hard to screw back on. When you’re done make sure to tighten the screws again!

A: Skates are not required to have CSA approval. Only ice skating protective equipment for the head and face such as hockey helmets, helmet combos and face masks/cages require CSA approval. Please go to https://info.skatecanada.ca/ to get more info about Safe Sport for recreational/figure skating.

A: The current sizing is listed as Small, Medium and Large do to the adjustable nature of the skates. Small = Y11 – S2. Medium 2 – 6. Large 6 – 9. You will want to purchase a pair that fits in the range of your shoe size.
