Odd shape to clean

Our bottles are new so I can’t speak to the durability but they hold carbonation well for approaching 24 hours. We did find that the shape makes them hard to find the right tool to clean inside. Narrow at the opening then into a bulb shape so the one that fits thickness won’t go through the opening.

A: You can exchange an empty CO2 canister with a full one. Take your empty CO2 canister to a Canadian Tire store and the cashier will exchange it for a full one for a discounted price. Thank you for your question and Set The Bubbles Free!

A: The carbonator contains compressed carbon dioxide (CO2.) Compressed gas has a tendency to expand when it is exposed to a source of heat for prolonged periods of time. Therefore, the carbonator must not be exposed to sources of heat (such as travel in the trunk of a car) or placed right next to a heat source such as an oven, stove or fireplace. It is important to always store the carbonator unit in a cool and dry environment. Every carbonator is fitted with a unique safety valve, which will safely release the gas in the unlikely event the pressure in the carbonator rises. The carbonator has no expiration date. As long as your carbonator is stored in a temperate environment, your CO2 will remain fresh and usable indefinitely with no concern of spoilage.

A: 043-1256 Sodastream Starter Kit is the Source Machine, which is a slight step up model compared to the Play Both machines make sparkling water and use the same carbonating bottles and CO2 cylinder Both machines have the same easy to use snap lock bottle mechanism The Source Machine has a metal base and metal bottle loading tab, these are plastic on the Source The Source has a series of three lights that light up as you are carbonating the water to indicate the carbonation level The Source has a slightly different styling on the machine, a little more deluxe than the Play model The Play is also available in White, but is not currently carried by Canadian Tire in this colour
