Build quality changed from the old ones

I have a set from several years ago that had blue and pink lids as opposed to the all red these ones have. Those containers were great and I wanted more of them. When I took these home they were horrible in comparison.
Right off the bat, one of them had a hold in it and you could see and feel it was not properly formed during manufacturing.
The biggest container inside would not seal properly. When you press down on one side, the other side pops off. I had to run both hands around the container 5 times before the lid finally stayed on.
Then I took one of the smallest containers and the lid sealed fine, but in taking it off, the lid's tab flexed back and caused several white stress marks on the lid. It felt like the tab was going to break right off from normal use.
Since I had that many problems with them even before washing them and storing food, I will take them right back and exchange them with rubbermaid containers.
only redeeming thing is that the lids snap together for secure stacking.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Cheap and works well

Cheap set that works well and provides plenty of options. I use these exclusively as I HATE trying to find mixed tupperware sets. Many options and are convenient for lunches and leftovers.

Q: Am I wrong to assume if they can handle freezer to microwave, glass would be ok in 350 deg oven?

A: These containers are not made of glass therefore cannot go into the oven however they can go straight from the freezer into the microwave.

A: What proof is there that anything is BPA free? I would never put the plastic lid in the microwave but the bottom is made of glass.
