It's a great knife for the money, very sharp and has held up very well so far. HOWEVER, I find the plastic handle feels very cheap in my hand and uncomfortable to use. I've had it less than a year and I'm already going to upgrade to a better knife.

excellent ergonomic design

I would just like to stress one other aspect of this knife: its ease of opening and closing. More specifically, I've had similar knives by other well known makers , that are notoriously, and, at times, painfully difficult to open and close, sometimes requiring oil and a break in period. This knife, however, opened smoothly right out of the box, with either with the thumb studs or the index finger opener. One aspect of the knife that facilitates this ease is the ergonomic design of the handle which, unlike, say, a paraframe design, feels great in hand and allows you to really get a grip. And closing it is just as easy. Now, that's not to say the knife is flimsy and loose; as others have noted, it's really well built. What makes the difference with this knife, in my view, is that a lot of thought was put into the operational design of the knife. And that, for me, is huge!

This is great knife to have for its price. I've used it several times in the past year and the blade stays sharp. The rubber coating gives it a nice feel in the hand.

I have had this knife for a few years now. Picked it up to round out a gift card I received. I believed there was a belt clip at one time on mine, but it fell off. That being said I would highly still highly recommend this knife as I have never had a belt clip stay on a knife. I still carry it whenever I am not wearing a belt and carrying a knife in a sheath. I have put it thru a lot. Sharpens well and holds the edge for some time. Extremely light and sits well in my pocket. More than worth what it cost.

Great knife, well worth the money.

I bought this knife intending to carry it on my belt, both the tanto point and a serrated edge are very functional. The knife is very lightweight, fits good in the hand, and it has a slim profile, perfect for fitting on the belt. Out of the box, this knife was razor sharp! A great knife for a very affordable price, would highly recommend.

A: the law out here in Alberta Know 1 under 16 is allowed to but a knife. the person under 14 can buy it with an adult.
