Rather use a stone off the ground

Purchased this today and went ahead and tried bringing back the edge on a beat up knife I have. Long story short it wasn't up to the task. This will be the first and last pull through I'll ever buy. I'd rather use a rock found in this bush rather than carrying this pile of JUNK! Don't waste your money, buy a small whetstone to carry with ya instead. Anyway, This is going back for a refund ASAP!

as with any carbide sharpener you can damage your knife, but if you follow the instructions you'll have a good sharp knife and its small enough to fit almost anywhere

Does what it is supposed to do

I purchased one of these because of the diamond rod sharpener. The diamond rod is great for my serrated blades. I recommend not using the carbide sharpener unless you knife is really messed up because it will remove a lot steel from your knife blade. Just use the ceramic sharpener.

A: Yes, it will. Only use the carbide blades if your knife is really dull, otherwise use the ceramic sharpener. The diamond rod is great for serrated pocket knives.
