The Lightning Bolt pitching machine is a lightweight, portable and fun training tool designed to improve contact at the plate. Through focusing on soft micro balls, batters work on the visual processing, concentration and hand-eye coordination that make hitters great. Watched a YouTube video and it looked like it would be decent . It wasn’t . Not good for baseball. It could be good for playing mini sticks and practicing one timers lol Overall though should be taken off the market. Maybe if the balls were slightly heavier it could feed through the machine better.

Not as expected.

Just ok. The trainer baseballs are less than half the size of a regular baseball. Good for practicing aim and hitting - if the machine was consistent. My son needs an adult “manning” the machine to check for stuck balls and to make sure it is continually pitching. Every pitch is different, no consistency. Hard to adjust, needs a super long extension cord or batteries (which we find don’t work as well). Don’t waste your money. Grab a handful of wiffle balls and pitch to your kiddo instead.

Skilz batting pitching machine bought in April 23.

Took a while for it to get shipped to my house. Balls are a little small and tend to get easily lost outside. Machine is decent but is a little wild at times. Which isn’t bad but make sure your young one is wearing a helmet. Ok for the money.

A: The machine has only 1 setting but it does pitch faster balls than slow balls. Hope this helps.
