Q: We have a 12 foot round above ground pool, 6473 liters. We picked up this kit but there's no recommendation for a pool our size. Can you recommend a regiment? How much shocker, how many chlorine tabs?

Q: Is this kit appropriate for a 12 by 39.5 above ground? How long will it last?

A: According to the information provided, your pool volume should be about 10,500 litres. The Chemical kit for small pool, sku # 0813721, includes 1Kg Stabilized chlorine granule, 1L Algaecide and test strips. For your pool size, this kit should last for about a month if you add a daily dosage of 40g of the Stabilized chlorine granule and 200 ml of algaecide weekly. But you also need to take into consideration the weather and the number of swimmers. We recommend that you test your water weekly using the test strips to make sure the parameters are correct. (Free Chlorine: 1.0-3.0 ppm, ph 7.2-7.8 ppm, Alkalinity: 80-120 ppm). Additionally, here are the advantages of the stabilized chlorine granules; it does not affect your pH, it dissolves quickly and the chlorine stays longer in the pool because it has protection from the sun.
